Looks like advertisers nowadays are willing to do anything to get attention. No surprise, with billions of website out there, they have to do everything they could to stand out among the crowd. I saw these ads on one of my blogs. Well, they did get my attention. So, I guess their method is actually working!

I think this is the first time I’ve got so many people coming from Innit in one day. To be honest, I didn’t expect that much since I’m not a famous blogger.

I’ve read so many blogs talking about the importance of having quality content and I’ve decided to give my own opinion regarding the subject based on my own experience. For newbie, this post could help you to determine whether it is worth it to create an original content or simply copy-and-paste content from other website.

Few years ago when Google introduced Adsense, there were only few people using this copy-and-paste technique and Google were kind enough to let them get away with it. But then when it became public thanks to so-called Internet Marketing Gurus, many tried the same and Google felt that it’s not fair to other competitors.

I know some bloggers out there are too busy to write on their blog and decided to copy-and-paste from some other sources. The good news is your blog still rank at Google but unfortunately it may not be on the first page. I believe that Google has already improved their algorithms to detect spamming blogs.

Google hate spammers!

Surely enough, I gave it a try to one of my blogs. It’s a soccer blog where I talks most about my all-time favorite team. At first, I wrote everything myself until it reached about 50 posts. On average, I received around 50 – 150 unique visitors per day. Everything changed after I’ve decided to copy-and-paste another 50 posts from other top website such as Goal.com, Soccernet, TeamTalk, etc.

The traffic suddenly decreasing and the only reason why there are still few people coming in is because of my old posts. I think there are two simple reasons to explain this phenomenon: -

It’s been awhile since my last update. I would like to thanks Rob from Nuffnang for his quick respond regarding my last post on Nuffnang. I’m not alone after all. Looks like everyone else also concern about their low-earning and less frequent ads. If you don’t believe me, look at how many Nanged I’ve got for the post.

Apparently, someone is trying to beat Adwords Quality Score but outbidding other ads. I don’t know how much per click but based on average; its equivalent to $1.22 per click.

For those who don't know what is the Adwords quality score; it's actually an algorithm used by Google in its Adwords PPC interface to rank search results. Google has said recently that Adwords ranking in the future will be based more around the Quality Score and less around the amount bid by the webmaster.

I know some people are getting better earnings per click but I am still happy to see the progress so far.

Is it just me or does anyone notice this problem. I think Nuffnang have a timer on the ads and that’s why it’s not always showing in our blog. I notice that the ad only showing after midnight which is 12:01 in the morning. If most of our readers are from Malaysia, how many of them are still awake to visit our blog?

I didn’t notice this at all until a fellow blogger told me about it. So, I’ve decided to wait until midnight to see whether he’s telling the truth or not and surprisingly he wasn’t lying.

Since not many of us are lucky enough to get buffered campaign, this is definitely not helping bloggers to earn money from Nuffnang. As I mentioned earlier, timing is crucial in any business including blogging. I believed that if the timing is right, anyone could easily double or even triple their profits.

I heard so many people complaining why Nuffnang ads doesn't show all the time. To be honest, I have no answer to this question.

I hope Timothy or Ming will do something about this and help bloggers to earn more while blogging.

Foreign exchange market or know as Forex always been one of my interests but I never really had a chance to learn it in proper way. Many people claims that it is easy to make money from Forex even if you’re a beginner. I tried it once before using free account and that’s it, no more. The funny thing is I actually make some profits from it. Well, I didn’t actually earn money from it but I did make money using the free account which I never claim it up until now.

I think the reason why I didn’t actually interested to invest in Forex is because one of friends losing almost RM2, 000 overnight. Its scare the hell out of me to think that you could lose your hard-earned money instantly. If you’re making money from Adsense like me, you know how long it’s going to take to reach that point. I may sound very skeptical here but like making money from selling affiliate product, only few that really make living from it.
